70% CPU and only 27% GPU on KOBOH
I have a ryzen 5 2600x and a 3060 12gb and on Koboh I get 30 fps only, even after the patches and my all my setting are on medium. If someone knows how to fix it please help me.

There's no solution. All you can do is wait for next patch.

The fix was to refund and not support this garbage approach of "release first, fix later" but if you've reached koboh, you've probably played more than 2 hours

It may be worth considering upgrading that cpu anyway, it’s getting pretty long in the tooth

at 4k? That would be about right for 4k res.

4k should increase gpu usage and reduce cpu usage.

running settings higher will raise the Gpu usage, the recommended ryzen cpu is a 5600x.
Im running a intel 12900 K, msi 3080 ti. At 4k everything at epic besides texture and game doesn't currently work with ray tracing at least not for me. Im in the 60-80 fps.
99% Gpu usage, 20-30% cpu usage, if ray tracing is on it will crash constantly. Try turning that off if your using it. The game recommends 1440P as well.
For some reason the game has an issue with cpu usage, I should be able to destroy it with my cpu, This last patch (4) screwed up something again as well

Seems cpu limitation. I only see about 33% max of my 12 cores/24threads used so that would be about right for your 6 cores.

Whats bonkers is that setting all your graphics settings to potato make almost no changes to the fps, i get maybe a 3 fps change from it. Before this patch came out I was getting 50-80 on Koboh with epic settings(no ray tracing). Now the hitching is more pronounced, there's some kind of lag going on where key presses get missed when I'm hitting a block or trying to queue an attack or a jump, it will just not register it. And I'm getting 30-50 fps on Koboh.

3700x/32gb ram/4070/1tb nvme 4th gen.

Resident evil runs great/Dead Space runs great. I know they're not really comparable, but holy hell this feels like Cyberpunk2077 or Mass Effect Andromeda all over again.

I can say this I've tested down to 6 cores with no HT/SMT and it makes no difference running at 6 or 24 threads at 5.1ghz on my 5900X I get 54fps at 2k res so I'm def GPU bottlenecked on my 3060ti and it has a hefty OC on it also. It also sets at 98-100%gpu usage. So I would say the highest MHZ you can get your cpu with 6 logical cores and you will see an improvement. This is looking out back towards town to Koboh.

Get a better CPU if possible of course, you have a great graphics card but that will bottleneck with your low CPU. You really would see a hugh difference with all of your games if you balance your CPU more towards your GPU

That sounds like an issue with your configuration. Make sure you close all other apps on your computer and then see where CPU use is. It's weird you'd be CPU limited before the GPU in this game unless there is something else running or interfering with the game...

It can also be the program you are using to monitor the game is bugged.

Other general suggestions:

BIGGEST: Make sure your Windows copy is up to date and your GPU drivers.

1. Remember this game runs on Windows 10 and higher, it does not support Windows 7 or any of those modded versions that got "DX12" through a mod.

2. That said, DX12 games should not be ran in fullscreen use fullscreen windowed or windowed mode.

3. Shadows and Reflections in games still use CPU for calculation. No idea about the floating point performance of that CPU, but setting those lower generally help with CPU bottlenecks

4. Post your full specs

Note: one possibility is that your CPU is at a low clock speed, probably even lower than base. Only you know how to see your clock speed and what settings you put on your PC.

Aaaaand we're STILL waiting. Even patch 7 hasn't done enough.

That's it. There won't be any significant patches for Survivor anymore. Time to upgrade PC.

Time to upgrade PC? The ♥♥♥♥? I have a 13900k with a 4090 and it still stutters like hell, incredibly low FPS and constant random crashes. What kind of stupid opinion is that? "Oh the game is poorly optimized? Ah, it's just your PC's fault." How can I even upgrade? I literally have the best possible hardware for PC gaming.
