Need help with Fractured Malice (The Rancor duo)
Disclaimer:I have already beaten the Oggdo duo on Jedi Grand Master difficulty.

But this, this Rancor duo. They can walk through each other!. They can stand in the same spot. I use a similar strategy with Oggdos fight, to fight only one enemy at a time, by lining up the Rancors so one is always behind another one.

The thing is they can walk through each other. There is no collision check or something. So one of them often stand literally inside another. I can parry the one at the front (closest to me) just fine, but I can't do anything with the attack from the one I can't see (they overlap in 3d space, I don't know how to best describe it). Even the Oggdo duo don't do this. They don't walk through each other so the one further away don't spam attack as if it is close to me.

So I have to swallow my ego and reduce difficulty from Grand Master to Master. Now I got 2 shot instead of 1 shot to death lol.

How am I supposed to beat them? Any suggestions to get away with this 'walk through` problem?

Edit: Managed to beat them. I had to line them up diagonally so I can see what both are doing. Running around to lure them to not let them stand inside each other lol. Attack the one in the front. Repeat.

First keep playing the game, if they are killing you in one hit you likely don't have all the HP upgrades.
Also you should not try to block or parry the rancors attacks. Secret is to avoid them using dodge or jump+dash and hitting them a couple times (on single blade stance) between their attacks.

You could also try to wait until finish the story to get all the Force upgrades.

Thanks bro! Used the suggested technique. Managed to beat them. Still can't wrap my head around the Rancor walking through one another :\

I tried to fight Rancor on low level, GM difficulty, approax 40x times before I even learned 2-3 safe approaches I could switch about while fighting. I feel you, and let me tell you, your frustration is justified.

That beign said, I think the general approach--on higher levels--should consist of experimenting with the right perks (big block meter comes in mind, for example), and blocking the heck out of each Rancor's normal attacks while dash-jump-airdashing away from red attacks and chipping their health with 2 save attacks whenever the situation allows for it.
