I forget how or what happens, but i think the busted droid needs to be moved when you progress further.

I kept getting the pet the Bogling prompt, figured it was something related to that and not the busted droid.

There was a bogling that liked to sit on top of the plug apparatus, not sure if it always does that.

there's no bogling in my screenshot I don't even remember if it ever was there when I first visited this place

Oh hell, I tried to do like this it didn't work. Instead I found another way to get to the highest point, I just went south to CIS droids area and jumped from above
