Anyone finds the game confusing?
Hey guys, I may probably have expected more but the game seems to be quite confusing .The first game was kind of OK with more closed environments which is exactly what this type of the game needs, Survivor is trying to be bigger and more open but it doesn't do great job explaining how to follow your quests or what's the big story behind why you do what you do. I also find totally confusing all the marks on the map , you have to open it a lot to go to the right direction , not counting sometimes you think you completed the quest but in reality you have to return to the same location. Saving system is also not much helpful , in main quests you do not have so many meditation places so you die and you have to return to the same place over again which takes a looot of time . I am still in the Reach and I am already losing interest in the game. I think the authors should have focused on more epic story , something big and more closed quarter fights and environments.

I kinda disagree the only RPG i can see is the skill tree. The "side quest" dont even seem like they are trying to be side quest at all to me. They are just pointing you in a direction of an area you can explore. In short doesnt feel like it's trying to be a RPG at all to me.

You literally recruit people to hang out in the bar, you need to weedwack to plant a garden, you need to hear a story to get fish, you need to talk to a person who wants you to slaughter animals. It's 100% trying to be an RPG.
We probably will still not agree but Just cause you recruit people and listen to dialogue doesnt make it an rpg element. Since Recruiting in this game is not really a main objective and it's mostly useless. Most of the ones you do recruit don't really benefit you so i don't really see how that one counts in this game . I can see how some people can consider that a rpg element but the way it's done in this game just feel like it to me. Now i admit i forgot about teaming up with bode and merin for some missions yes that can feel a little like a rpg but not much since they arent with you all that often but I will admit that one does count.

The dialogue from the npc in this ones feels like they are just pointing you a direction explore or in the case of the fish guy would be more of a collectible. If it actually felt like side quest stuff id agree but I just cant.

Worst SW experience I ever had. Running around in circles with waypoints just bringing me back to the same place. Frustrating enough that climbing the mountain path just had me delete the game. Its like Tomb Raider with a SW skin. Don't remember in any of the movies Jedi running around in circles lost.

I think you have just insulted Tomb Raider!
There's more subtext behind character choices than in the first game. Most of the main cast are on their own path, for the most part. They do what they're going to do regardless of Cal and don't always explain everything to him.

The game certainly doesn't waterboard you with exposition, which I appreciate, but I never felt the character choices didn't make sense (at least to the characters who made those choices.)
