Agreed. I more or less have the same thing and it varies wildly
yes it does help the frames over all in many places :3
the big open area is still the biggest problem :3
There is even a "Low" option which doesn't look bad at 1080p. My RX 6600M is quite enough to enjoy the game, and reportedly it is less powerful than the 3060 12GB.
The i5-11400 on the other hand, only has a 4.4GHz clock speed, which doesn't seem to be able to achieve the necessary single thread performance for the minimum frame rate that "Commander Shepard" is looking for in this game.
My 8-Core Ryzen 7, at a sustained 4.1GHz is not fast enough to run this game.
I'm thinking about overclocking an AMD FX to 8GHz just to get 60 FPS.
Either that or seeing if the game will now run on a Core 2 Duo,...
