I'm downloading it now, but no mention of performance issue sadly, after a month of silence this what they came up with

month of nothing for nothing.
Just to report on the performance, running around koboh at the town I'm getting 55-60 fps, much more stable than before where I had around 40-60 fps, however if there's any particle effect (sparks from cutting small bushes etc.) the fps drop to about 48 fps, and for some reason I feel that the image look blurrier than before, had my setting on Epic with no FSR.
Performance is still unacceptable imo.

with the new patch can I now rebind the arrow keys for movement?...ridiculous that the game shipped on PC without basic keyboard remapping options

I went back to the game and tried it, and unfortunately no, you still can't bind movement to the arrow key
Getting Error Code: EC:10608 after latest patch.
"can't find any locally saved data...etc"

Thanks for the datapoint. I have a 3090 as well, though with a slower CPU and 16 GB ram. I tried at launch at was having sub 30 fps during busy times, so I refunded. I think I'm going just go for it now. If I have to drop resolution and settings so be it, I've just been really excited for this game for a really long time

I have it on the EA launchner and weirdly enough, it doesn't download any patch. I also can not see the patch notes on the link posted. Steam got it before EA's own platform. lol
Koboh still stutters...

It was the same for Dead Space Remake. At the time they explained it in some Reddit Post, if I remember it was due to the different test and release process for their own launcher.
Some early tests with my rig:
i7-12700k
32 GB RAM
RTX 4070 12 GB

Before the patch, I could not play the game for long before it crashed. By monitoring the VRAM consumption, I could see that it kept increasing steadily over time, until I reached the maximum (12 GB in my case) and then the game crashed.

With new patch, I ran around Koboh for a while, and VRAM consumption remained capped at around 11 GB, so I didn't get any crash yet (Epic preset, RTX on, no FidelityFX). Even going to the menu (the one that appears when you press Start) frees up some VRAM, so it seems memory management is better. I get a pretty stable 60 fps in Koboh, except occasional, very brief stutter.

The game looks pretty blurry though, despite using 100% scaling. Using FidelityFX mitigates this a bit, but I suppose we'll have to wait for another mod update to disable TAA. White flickering of textures while quickly moving the camera still occurs.

Seems we are heading in the right direction...

thanks for checking...that's too bad...I've been using a mod from Nexus Mods which allows me to use the arrow keys for movement but it would be nice if an official patch fix was released

still crashed in under a 1/2 hour but definitely for stable then it was. No video memory issue crash
No fix for the performance issues for a lot of people nice. So basically another nothing patch awesome.
