Thread for May the Performance be with you
Sup pals, its me da Creator of the "May the Performance be with you" Mod. I wanted to create a Thread here for People to ask Questions and maybe suggest new things.

To clear up some false Info about my Mod I saw on the Web:

- No, this is not a placebo Mod and the effectiveness of it depends on the settings you set or which Preset you choose

- Visual fidelity can be increased and decreased with the Mod, the basic Presets come with a minimal trade off in Visuals which is hardly noticeable during normal Gameplay if you don't pinpoint

- You can customize and build the Mod completely on your own with the Configurator, if you have a Linux system, you might need to run off of a VM (or a secondary Windows Machine) and create the mod from there if you want to use the Configurator

- I try to update the Mod as much as I can, if you got any setting Requests or Bugs, etc. don't hesitate to suggest/report them here or on Nexusmods

Installation:

Like with every other PAK based UE4 Mod, you have to find the Game's root Directory and search for the PAKS folder, in there drag and drop the mod into it, alternatively you can create a "~Mods" folder and put it there as well.

The Configurator is an Executable that will do this automatically upon clicking the Install Button, note that the Configurator will not put the Mod in a "~Mods" Folder!

Recommendations:

I myself have a GTX 1070, R7 3700X, 32 GB RAM at 3600 MTS and an NVME M.2 SSD.
It's more of a mid-Range PC, in the Configurator you can select my own Preset I used to finish the Game, it is not available as a Preset in the standalone Package and only available in the Configurator.

For low-End Systems it's recommended to at least drop the TAA Resolution by about 30-40%, when TAA Gen 5 or TAAU + Gen 5 is activated, this won't look as bad.

For mid-Range Systems you can look at my own preset and customize it as you wish.

High-End Systems can also make use of the TAA Resolution slider to increase visual fidelity, combined with TAA Gen 5, it looks real good.

There are a lot more Options in the Configurator and many more Options in the wild to discover, I used resources as these to get the settings for the Mod done, take a Look at them and maybe edit my Mod further if you wish:

You can also use my Configurator and create your whole own Mod out of it if you'd like to, I would be happy with a small Credit, but its not necessary.

I am pretty bad at writing stuff so this sorta "Guide" is relatively small and lacks some Information but I hope it gets the Job done.

At last I would like you to be friendly and leave toxicity and what not somewhere else.

Great thread! I only want know about "GPU VRAM Pool Size Optimizations"; is better option "Above 12 GB" or "11 GB - 12 GB"?
I have an AMD RX 6700 XT, 12 GB VRAM

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
