Reports are that Patch 9 did not address high memory utilization or leaks.
The Steam Deck only has 16GB of shared memory, with 4GB typically being allocated to VRAM. This leaves a mere 12GB of RAM. Jedi: Survivor will consume all of that and more, despite the minimum requirements being only 8GB RAM and 8GB VRAM.
Base Steam OS configurations have no SWAP space (Page File) for the game to spill over to.
There may be reports that Coruscant is playable, and some users may get some playability with tweaks to manage VRAM and SWAP space as users with CryoUtilities may report more success. I would not advise purchase of this game if the Steam Deck is your only gaming computer. There may be an argument that some Steam Deck owners are entitled to a refund due to the inaccurate Minimum Requirements posted for the game, but that would depend on your local laws.
