Texture issues
I bought the game on my wife's account and played it on release, it wasn't perfect but ran well on the pc on medium ans high settings. Ray tracing would crash the game almost immediately. I wanted to play the game again, but saw there was a patch update, now the game barely functions. There are no textures, even on the lowest settings, but ray tracing works...? If I set the games quality in high Cal falls through the map, and when I set everything on low call looks like a first generation PS1 character running around in an 8bit texture Lara croft environment with tries that look like green puffs of gas.

Now I have heard there are mods that can fix this issue on Nexus, so if anyone has come across this problem and found a fix, please let me know. It would be much appreciated

Antialiasing - FXAA: on
Antialiasing gamma correction: on
Antialiasing transparency: multi sample
Low latency mode: ultra
Anisotropic sample option: on
Negative LOD bias: allow
Texture filtering - quality: quality
Trilinear optimization: on
Threaded optimization: on
Triple buffering: on
Vertical synce: on

I went into the nvidia control panel > manage 3d settings > program settings (I had to add Jedi survivor)
And then changed these, I’m pretty sure for me it’s a VRAM issue or lack of, but this help me some, textures still pop to ps1/2 textures but the trees actually turn into trees instead of staying as weird floating blankets
Let me know if this helps, or if you find a full fix, other than VRAM, I believe I have the minimum system requirements on my ASUS FLOW X13

There is a mod on nexus mods called Ultra Plus Unnofficial Hotfixes and Better Graphics. it's best to download the Ultra Plus version of Jedi Survivor v1.0-rc1 (it takes the least fps but still a lot.
It fixes the game completely but the fps cost is high

So here what I did, I tried several mods aimed at performance and fixing the texture problems, the made the game more blurry than anything else and definitely slowed my pc down. So what I did was reinstall the game and twerk with the settings. I tried it all, including vagaxii recommended.

My conclusion is this:

Whatever the latest patch 9 did has broken the texture of the game. On corrusant everything works well, textures are amazing, everywhere else it breaks. I have never been able to play on epic settings before, but now I can. Ray tracing almost always crashed the game, now it works no problem.

I believe EA has made a massive ♥♥♥♥ up and broken their game.

I also went into steam and installed files > SwGame > binaries > win64 > (right click JediSurvivor) properties, select compatibility;
Check: disable fullscreen optimization
Check: run as administrator

change high DPI settings
Check: override high DPI scaling behavior

I got this from a YouTube video and did end up un-checking ‘run as admin’, I just felt like the pop up notice would cause some stutter at start up, in terms of gameplay, these helped a little to make it smooth, my character looks blurry most the time, the bogglings’ look like they have mange, the nekkos fur is weird, but the environment, enemies, lighting, and effects seem to run well. I haven’t had any crashes on this yet, I did buy the game on Xbox one x and if you play that game for an hour or longer you better save often with all the freezes and crashes. But, for has broken as it is, the story and the fact that I only bought the games on sale make me want to still try and fix it. I’ll let you know if I try that mod, but for now I might tough it out this way and hope “the force” will help fill in the graphic/visual gaps, or help me let go of the AAA expectations that fuel me with anger and resentment.
And I’ll keep up with any other changes or tweeks I make in on this chain, in hopes that helps the majority of us having issues narrow down fixes.
