EA Subscription?

Wondering what the EA subscription is needed for? Does the solo play work with only an EA account and no paid subscription? If so whats the difference? Any help, thanks

(I hate how greedy EA is so I don't want to have to pay a recurring fee to play the game.)

If it's like the first one, it actually runs on Origin/EA app, so you probably need an EA account. You shouldn't have to buy anything.

The subscription, from what I understand, is a lot like the Xbox Game Pass. It's a subscription that allows access to the EA library. Definitely NOT needed to play the game.

Though, you DO need an EA account and install the EA App in order for the game to be launched
