Horrible graphics
This game has been fun so far, but the graphics are terrible. I poked around online and found that many others have the same issue. My computer specs are above the recommended, and I tried the workarounds some said from setting it on Epic and then turning them down, but I've only had brief luck. Currently, I've dropped the settings to high, with textures on low, and they still take forever to load. I somewhat frequently see amorphous blobs on the ground or in the air, then I walk up to it and it suddenly turns into a bush. If I go any higher than low textures, it's a permanent blob.

What gives? How can you sell a game that runs this poorly?

Patch 9 was "last patch" and it was released in September, main goal was to remove DENUVO. Since then game has serious problem with loading any if all textures.

I recommend upgrading your rig to 4090 or wait for 50 series

i everything maxed at at epic and it looks ugly considering its supposed to be epic settings, i dont see much difference between medium and epic

Try disabling motion blur, chromatic aberration and film grain under the effects settings .Graphics are better after that.

What happens is that with the version released on September 12, 2024, the developers disabled the ability to choose the graphic quality of the textures, in the previous version that came out on June 11, the game did look good because the texture quality you selected was reflected, I recommend installing that version if you want the game to look good.

That is the only solution, unless EA realizes the mistake they made and fixes it, but it's been 3 months since the patch came out and no other has come out to fix it...

What is your GPU?.
Some games don’t load high quality textures if there is not enough VRAM.

This video came out a couple months back with a tweak in the pinned comment that very much improves the game's AA, making it look sharper. Create Engine.ini in C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\SwGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor and put the tweak there.

Also it provides very good explanations for various optimization issues the game has if you have time to watch it.

There is your problem. 4 gigs of VRAM won't cut it for this game.
That being said, it is indeed quite poorly optimized.

This game saves only rich created art but cannot hide blurriness only if I tried. To play over 100fps on RTX card is required lower temps. If it was possible I would like to play this game with over 200fps as it should be played but maybe in another 20 years... To that time farewell travelers. (PS. Unreal Engine is terrible on its own and they've told us its good)
