GPU makes a buzz when playing
Pretty much what the title says. I've never had this happen with any other games I've played and the buzz seems to change frequency when I change certain settings. Any idea as to what this might be and how I might fix it?

Sounds like coil whine. It's a hardware issue and there's nothing you can do to fix it beyond lowering settings/framerate until the power draw of the GPU drops below the point that's causing it. That power draw will be different for every card, so you'd have to experiment to find that point for yourself.

Well, I say issue, but it won't affect performance at all, it's just annoying.

I wish EA would just make the game perform well instead of having their users decrease settings until it's at an acceptable level. I feel like having a 6950xt and 7800x3d should be enough to prevent this sort of issue. ):

I mean it's strictly a hardware issue. Not much they can do about your hardware having coil whine (if that is the issue). Not all GPU's experience it.

This isn't a game issue, your GPU has some coil whine, it's completely normal and not damaging to your card, just annoying. Cap your frame rate, will likely shut your card up.

Coil whine can happen in any gpu and its not covered by warranty because technically is not a "problem", its just the sound of electricity passing through your gpu

and its not the game's fault as well.

Actually many have considerably minimized, or even stopped audible GPU coil whine just by filling the gaps in the coils with superglue. The only problem is it voids the GPU warranty.

This kind of noise is specifically relevant to the quality of chokes the graphics card manufacturer uses, and some DO allow RMAs for ones that have excessive coil whine. So you should try that first if you bought a good brand and it's still under warranty.

It's a complex issue though, as it can vary from card to card within the same brand and model line. Even the quality of PSU one uses and specifically, how stable the current it produces can matter. This is why many graphics card manufacturers won't RMA for it.

My card has this too with raytracing only lol
Just coil whine, nothing to worry about, though it annoys me enough to not use raytracing in games xD

My GPU had this for the first 2 months when it was new, thankfully it did completely go away with time. I do remember this was one game that did cause it too, but yes as other's have stated lowing settings can get rid of it.
