Performance in 2024
Since I pre-ordered the game, the performance has been terrible. I have an AMD RTX 7600, and I've tested the game at different times— at launch, after several patches, and a few weeks ago. The FPS drops constantly and the image gets shuttering easily; nothing smooth.

I've started the game from the beginning many times. Despite my hours played (41h), I've only made it as far as Kerber and not much else. I've spent too much time testing graphical settings, trying with Ultra Plus, SWJS, and the game's own engine.ini.
It's a shame because I really love Star Wars and all its games, but this latest one is difficult to enjoy... But the score is Grammy winner!

I'm not sure if what we need is another patch or help from EA, but I think we all share the same sentiment. I never thought I would comment on all of this, but now the game is part of EA Play and it caught my attention.

May the force be with you

EDIT: If you have any comment, tip for the game or other experience, you can let it

I bought 5 games on a holiday half price sale, and this was one of them. I tried at least a couple of them on EA Play Basic first, but discovered the coding for the EA Play titles is not the same as when you buy the game, which is why ShadowPlay would not work well with them.

Some claim games on EA Play run smoother, but I have to be skeptical. This could be a thing that comes down to spec, but I tend to be pretty diligent about speccing my rig, checking settings, and checking out tech info on the games, recommended settings, and any performance issues.

Still though, mileage may vary from user to user, especially on EA Play vs a bought copy. The problem is it's really hard to buy a copy to test it's performance in the allowed 2 hr refund window, because you may get little if any play time on Koboh, which is where the performance issues begin for most.

Try some performance mods on Nexus. That removed stuttering for me. Still fake shader compile in the beginning, but at least it runs smoother now. Just sucks that it takes mods to address performance.

Like with any mods, ymmv
