Is game fixed?
I haven't played since near launch due to the frame issues. Has that been fixed?

No it has not. It's fixed on PS5 though. Amazing game there. PC is unplayable to me with the stuttering.

He defines working in the sense that he ignores the stuttering issue and the occasional crashing.

The performance wasn't terrible for me at launch, but it's very smooth now.

It works but like the same way you have a broken desk that you taped together with duct tape and kinda used like 10 rolls and some standard glue works. I can get a stable 2K/60 FPS no Ray trace experience but with my rig of a 14700k and 4080 i should be able to 2K/120 raytrace experience no problem
I may not notice stutter with Adaptive sync, but i play every game with RTSS and i see that frame graph wildin so yeah the PC port is not the greatest, i also had to find a random mod to make the game play in an actual native resolution and fix TAA cause holy hell did it blur.

I watched the video. I think it's something in the background.

Like an Antivirus or... I don't know, i don't run much in the background.

What you can do is run Task Manager, add a column for "power use" (Not 100% sure about the translation), launch the game, run around a little, then go back to Task Manager. See what's running.

Either that or turn off both overlays. Steam and EA launcher. I'm pretty sure EA also has a background process you could try turning off.

Then there's the usual Anti-virus scans, the drivers, windows updates... Stuff.

One thing though. If you don't run this command regularly, it might pick up errors.
-Type "CMD" in cortana
-Select run as admin
-Type: "SFC /SCANNOW".

This will scan the integrity of your Windows client. Reboot as needed.

Hope it helps.

No and it likely will never be optimized at this point. Any news on last gen port LOL!
