Regardless of your CPU + GPU combination.
The game has traversal stutter and shader compilation stutter still. If people are saying it doesn't then they're either lying or don't notice it.
In Jedi: Survivor, I am experiencing CPU bottlenecking in high population areas. It is starting to look like the AI population is causing dropped frames, even at 30 FPS. This primarily affects the areas around the Koboh settlement.
On my last test I was actually able to get smoother frame rates in Pyloon's Saloon by switching to the the Epic preset, and enabling Ray Tracing. My RX 6600 GPU woke up from its power saving mode and was able to nearly achieve a locked 30 FPS at 1080p. Unfortunately, that combination seems to lead to a VRAM overflow crash, which may require manually managing my Windows Page file.
Switching to Low graphics while playing does seem to fix the low frame rates when using the map, particularly when traveling between planets. I think that issue may be VRAM related, possibly memory leak related, as the issue does not return after switching back to a higher graphics setting
Otherwise, on the low graphics settings you are more likely to get accustomed to higher frame rates and subsequently become more sensitive to the massive drops when the game becomes CPU bound. If your system is "struggling" on the GPU side, then you probably won't notice when it starts struggling on the CPU side instead.
I'll put it this way, this will be a fantastic game to get for like $10-15 dollars. but the state the game is still in after all this time from AAA studio is completely inexcusable lol
Every area away from there the game is smooth and utilising my CPU and GPU as it should.
these are my findings inside and in the direct area of Ramblers Reach
PC Rig
Nvidia RTX 4090
Ryzen R7 7800X3D
32gb DDR5@5600 mhz
2Tb free space on my 4Tb nvme

Game settings
1440p upscaled to 4K ( through nvidia driver version 551.52 13.02.2024 ) on my 240Hz Gsync monitor. I set the monitor on 120Hz because having better and even frametimes is better than high framerate with crazy frametimes.
all settings Epic, Vsync OFF, DLSS quality, Framegeneration ON. Raytracing ON,
Ramblers Reach fps cap = 116 fps ( Due to Framegeneration, Gsync and Ultra Low Latency ) and to eliminate any microstutter.
Fully micro stutter when panning around with the camera, fps drops are minimal game stays around 109/116 fps but the microstutter is noticable everywhere around the village. Moving to other areas away from the village and the stutters and microstutters are gone for 95% to even a 100% microstutter free experience.
Returing back to Ramblers Reach and the microstutters occure right away, when approaching the village and panning around when standing inside the village or on one of the roofs.
Setting Raytracing to OFF ; around the village a big reduction of the microstutters for almost 90/95% around the village, so thats the good news, only panning around can introduce some slight stutter, its still there but almost not noticable.
Conclussion for me
To eliminate all microstutters is impossible around the village.
Even with the latest Nvidia driver and patch #8.
BUT i could reproduce less microstutter as following ; Raytracing OFF and every time you change a setting EXIT the game ( pain in da @ss i know ) the microstutters where less present.
This. It's technically flawed and janky. Don't believe people on here that say it's otherwise. It's not a smooth experience.
Didnt have any crashes. I dont have any background apps running, most crashes i had with past games was or bad coding or background apps running.
It's not just that. I run it without crashes with 100-60 fps with some ocasional drops below 60. But that's the thing. It doesn't matter what FPS you get. Even in some area's where it runs in 100 fps constantly, the camera feels off, the movement feels janky and combat feels clunky. I don't know what it is, but comparing to other games it's just not smooth.
Would agree with the above.
I just returned to a fully re-installed version and started playing today. I have a high end system (not bragging or anything, it's relevant to your question) with an RTX 4090, Intel 13900k, NVme drives and plenty of DDR 5 Ram. The stuttering isn't game breaking (and I've been careful to calibrate the video/display options for the game), and I'm enjoying it, but my rig runs any other current or upgraded (ie Cyberpunk 2077) games with all options maxed out and still holds to 110-120 FPS. So it's kind of pathetic how little optimization they did with this game. I would imagine if you're system is a bit older or otherwise doesn't have top end hardware, the above problem could make it unplayable.
I was annoyed by this at release and I'm frankly still irked. A good game that's handicapped by it's poor un-optimized coding. I think that's fairly obvious.
