Merrin is an argument in favour of AI voices

Ugh, setting aside her emo/goth attire and irksome attitude (fine if you simp for those), her voice reeks. If AI can create better VA then so be it!

i dont see merrin as goth or emo, in fact i would say she is the most level headed of all the characters. the sound of her voice is more of a personal preference rather than a technical one so their is no point on commenting on it.

I really didn't mind Merrin at all. I thought it worked well, she's still emoting but through the layer of a character with an accent.

Man, I think they got rid of her accent. She used to say "Dothomir" in the first game.

Let's let the studios and unions hash out their AI issues first before we start asking for games to use AI.

"AI" still requires both hands on the wheel or we end up with garbage. Might as well just use real people.

Merrin's mannerisms are now iconic for that character (and deliberate if you've heard the VA in other stuff). Replacing that now would be counterintuitive.
