Only thing that seems odd is that I'm not getting the haptic sounds when using the right track pad as a mouse in Windows that it used to do. I also thought that the Windows Bluetooth & Devices recognized it as a gamepad, but it's showing up as a mouse icon.
I switched to a wireless (w/dongle) gamepad, and that worked fine. Something about "Steam Input" perhaps? Steam Controllers can't disable that, but maybe it'll help for other controllers.
It's really hard to pin down too because by all accounts the controller hardware is working just fine, the computer recognizes it, steam recognizes it, and other games recognize it. So for whatever reason the game seems to have just ♥♥♥♥ the bed and stopped recognizing people's controllers.
The other thing that might be worth noting is that I couldn't get the game to use the steam overlay at all which might be related. I tried the keyboard shortcut and it just wouldn't pull up my steam overlay at all. I might try launching via big picture mode and see if that might help but I'm not really holding my breath.
