game wont detect my steam controller
when ever i try to launch the game and play it with my steam controller (yes, i know, im old fashioned) literally nothing happens. i know for a fact that this is not steams, nor the controllers fault, as i can still operate other games with the same controller, and ive also played this game with the controller before. does anyone know how i can get the game to detect my controller?

I have the exact same issue. 13 hours of play and my generic controller stopped working.
I can calibrate it and remap all the keys, so my controller is 100% working, but the game refuses to detect and use it anymore.

On 1/16/2024, Electronic Arts updated their EA App. Since that time there have been numerous reports about The Steam Overlay, Steam Input, Achievement notifications, and other Steam Integrations not working in Jedi: Survivor.

The work-around is apparently an old trick, which is to add the EA Desktop executable as a non-Steam game. Make sure the EA App is not already running. Launch the EA App from inside of Steam, and then launch Jedi: Survivor from inside of the EA App.

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\EADesktop.exe

Thanks for the reply, but sadly not working still. Any other suggestions?

Try using a program called GlosSI,
Make sure you disable to option in the GlosSI program when adding the game "Close GlosSI when launched app quits..."

Game location (for default installations):
'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Survivor\SwGame\Binaries\Win64\JediSurvivor.exe'

Make sure the game isn't running as admin as i found this fix not to work if you are.
