Starting Intro Lags

So, I recently got a new laptop and it seems to run my game really well. However, the startup intro with the logos towards the "optimization window" is very choppy and lags every once in a while.

Not necessarily a big issue, but it's odd that the game runs fine versus the choppy intro. Is there a way to fix the choppy intro sequence?

You are not alone. I have a flagship video card and processor as well as a long list of interesting specs. Enough to play any game out there at the highest of frame rates that modern technology can pull off. And yet, doesn't your logos lag like crazy for me. They clearly designed this game for consoles and could care less about PC users. I had to do so many things to get the game to work, but once I did, it seems to work just fine once you get past those logos. I had to turn off free sync Pro inside my monitor, I had a disabled ray tracing and HDR, and I had install some patch from Nexus mods. Before I did that, I was getting one to five frames per second. It was a very embarrassing, at least for EA. They should be ashamed, but I'm sure they still don't care.

Yes it stutters during the intro logo video. It happens on PS5 too.

A way to solve this would be the usual "just deactivate the intro videos".
To do so, navigate to your game folder
\\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Jedi Survivor\SwGame\Content\Movies
and rename or delete both
Default_Startup.mp4
Default_Startup_loop.mp4

There is also a mod which deactivates the shader optimization at the beginning of the game (should be ok as it doesn't seem to do anything after the first start).

It fixed the intro stutter for me.

The intro video is choppy because it's optimizing shaders already behind the video. It's not really a sign of anything, just another straw on the camels back for why the game feels unpolished.
