"You dont have access" fix that worked for me!
So I had this issue for the past three hours. However, I also did find a solution.
If you look through your library in the EA app you might notice that the Jedi Survivor game is not there, weird? Its because the EA App and Steam hasn't registered that you own the game yet.

Step 1:
So, first I checked for a game I knew was in the EA Library that I knew I had purchased through Steam, and installed it (Installed through Steam, of course). In my case I re-downloaded Jedi Fallen Order. Once the game was finished I started Fallen Order and let it start up to the main menu and then quit the game. Now all of a sudden Jedi Survivor showed up in my EA Library! I tried to start Jedi Survivor again through Steam, and it worked!
Maybe forcing EA and Steam to communicate and recheck some license for Fallen Order also made it recognize Jedi Survivor, I don't know, but it does work now for me at least.

However, before I did Step 1 I did what happened in Step 2. But after I did Step 2 and started the game it wouldn't start, because I didn't have it in my library. But maybe what's going on in Step 2 helped Step 1 to work.

Step 2.
What I did to force this was to go into my firewall and make sure these following are allowed in BOTH outbound rules and inbound rules:
- EASteamProxy.exe
- Link2EA.exe
You can find these two in the folder where the EA app is installed.

Hope this helps some of you, it did work for me :)

It sounds like EA's servers on their useless app are just down or glitchy/overloaded, and all the random "fixes" are actually just the server randomly letting you in, because nothing is consistent. People are reporting that their games "suddenly started working" after launching them repeatedly. I tried most of the stuff in this list to get Fallen Order working and none of it was effective.

You know what DID work? Refunding. Go Valve. F-EA. :gordon:

Turned on the PC and it has now registered to the EA crap on its own, overnight. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Now it runs and is taking a long time "optimizing". This is the furthest it's gotten.

Same, this is a sporadic back end server/service request issue. I bought this on sale 36hrs ago and I'm now seeing it in the EA application for the first time. It was always visible under my account on the EA.com website.

Hasn't worked for me, tried multiple games installing. At this point, every EA game that uses the app is giving the same message.
Hi! I think I have the ultimate fix. It may sound dumb, nothing worked for me either. For me it wasn't this game, but it was NFS Unbound. Tried everything, and I finally found a fix which I didn' find anywhere on the internet.

So, you need to create another user in your Windows, give it admin rights ( you can create a local one without a Microsoft Account ) and then just connect on Steam from that user and try to start the game. It worked for me! After that you can go on your main user and play like nothing happened. You can also delete the local user since you don't need it anymore. Hope this helps!

Yeah it's randomly working for me now today. I didn't do anything except just launch the game from steam. They clearly fixed whatever crap was broken on their side (so it would seem anyway).

Game is incredibly stuttery on max detail 3440x1440 with an OC'd Ryzen 5900X, 32GB DDR43900 1:1 14-16-16-20, and a 4090 though. Getting swings from 35 to 100FPS constantly. Seems to be CPU related (GPU usage tanks in between). Gonna just wait until tomorrow to play anymore since my 7800X3D parts come in tomorrow. Hopefully will solve that crap... (not that it's really acceptable ofc, but still sounds better than when it was in alpha launched).

Anyways yeah, I am guessing it is working for everyone now?

That's weird. I got 3900XT + 7900XT + 32gb ram and during the whole Chapter 1 I had fps around 70-110. However, I do only go with High on all settings except for Visual Effects and Textres on Epic. Chromatic Aberration and Motion Blur off.

I don't notice any of that stutter when running around.. I guess it kind of a lottery or something with parts that just happens to work somewhat okay.

This was beyond frustrating, but I found another fix! I attempted launching another EA game bought through steam, but that did not work. Wasn't even able to see it under My games in EA Help. However, on the top left corner of the EA App, you'll see the Menu section (the 3 lines). Go to Help > Restart App. as soon as I did that, Jedi Survivor popped up in My library and I was able to launch. No issues so far! Hope this helps!
