*THIS* close to hitting refund: "You don't have access"

I just bought this on sale, and every time I try to launch it, the EA app tells me that I don't have access.
I've tried clearing the cache and restarting my machine as recommended elsewhere, but it still happens.

Oh, and yes, my EA account is correctly linked to my Steam account.

How did you clear your cache? Someone online helped me clear the cache of the EA app it it seems to work now. It also registered the game to my account finally. I did have to unlink my steam and ea prior to launching the game.

1. Open EA App.
2. Open 3 line menu on top left.
3. "Help"
4. "App Recovery"
5. "Clear Cache"
6. Launch Game

Yeah, same; refund requested. Third-party launchers trying to integrate with Steam are nothing but trouble.
Also, if the game is in this kind of state so far after launch, I doubt it's going to be fixed any time soon.

So I had this issue for the past three hours. However, I also did find a solution.
If you look through your library in the EA app you might notice that the Jedi Survivor game is not there, weird? Its because the EA App and Steam hasn't registered that you own the game yet.

Step 1:
So, first I checked for a game I knew was in the EA Library that I knew I had purchased through Steam, and installed it (Installed through Steam). In my case I re-downloaded Jedi Fallen Order. Once the game was finished I started Fallen Order and let it start up to the main menu and then quit the game. Now all of a sudden Jedi Survivor showed up in my EA Library! I tried to start Jedi Survivor again through Steam, and it worked!
Maybe forcing EA and Steam to communicate and recheck some license for Fallen Order also made it recognize Jedi Survivor, I don't know, but it does work now for me at least.

However, before I did Step 1 I did what happened in Step 2. But after I did Step 2 and started the game it wouldn't start, because I didn't have it in my library. But maybe what's going on in Step 2 helped Step 1 to work.

Step 2.
What I did to force this was to go into my firewall and make sure these following are allowed in BOTH outbound rules and inbound rules:
- EASteamProxy.exe
- Link2EA.exe
You can find these two in the folder where the EA app is installed.

Same issue for me. I have 3 games in EA Origin visible linked properly with Steam, but I cannot see Jedy Survivor. I have Fallen Order, and it was played today. I have bought this game today, and I cannot see it in EA Origin.

Not sure what you wanted to say. It is not working. Whatever I do it is not showing. I have started Fallen Order and went back immediately, and no Jedi Survivor. I do not have firewall.
