Performance is fine, your configs probably sucks.
Has the title mentions, im running a 3060ti with a ryzen 7 5800x, 32gb Ram.

Im running at 1080p max settings, and the only place that the frames drop below 60 is on the main city hub area. I have yet to experience any stutters.

This said, my pc is completely mid range, so people who struggle to run this game, either have a completely patato pc, lack RAM (16 gb isn't enough nowdays, stop living under a rock) which will make your game stutter, it's the most influential spec in this situation, or hare bottlenecking the CPU or GPU.

I see this has a common mistake nowdays, poeple pairing a 4080ti with a 5800x, expecting miracles.

This said, i did not played the game at launch, and i believe the performance could be a problem initially, but with all the new updates, the game runs beautifully fine.

There's a 4090ti now?

Another "My game works 'fine' so there's no reason for people with even better hardware to have problems despite thousands of reports and even proven video evidence that the game is still performing piss-poor" post.

"fine" with such garbage hardware, lol

Ahh yes, the classic guy who doesn't understand hardware giving hardware advice thread.

Nope

the game stutters with frametime spikes no matter the specs. even at 100+ fps avg you will get stutters down to 40-50 while running around koboh. it is just part of the game, seems unfixable, no point in hiding it still playable but same issues as first game which was also never fixed. best bet is VRR type solution to hide the stutter

3060ti is not midranged. It is low end now. Doesn't even meet minimum requirements for most newer titles. 5800x CPU is mid lower range due to poor IPC performance.

3060 (non-Ti), 1650 and 1060 are the most used cards on Steam by a not-insignificant margin. Most people just don't have the money for these kinds of products, especially in this economy.

We can be both correct.

I have Ryzen5 7500F(6 cores, 12 treads) + 32GB DDR5 + RTX 2070 = not bad config, but i have 45-55 fps and non-stop micro staggers or freezes. I play FULL HD(not 2k and not 4k). FULL HD + this config + mid settings = 45-55 fps + often lags, freezes and etc. Its GOOD optimization? Not ultra-settings, not high settings... MID settings + full hd only, and i not have stability 60+ FPS? I need buy 3080 or 4070 for MID settings on full hd? really?

Haven't you heard? AMD Jesus has made it that you are able to use frame generation and play this game at a level of acceptable performance. You need to go to nexus mods and get the latest version of Nukem9's frame generation mod.

The performance seems to be very inconsistent across every range of CPU and GPU. I found the most important element is to have a VRR screen so the stutters become less horrible.

I have a mid-range PC and I lock the game at 30 fps and push the visuals, because at higher framerates the stutters are more noticeable.

It dont matter what people on steam use. That arguemednt you use "To expensive" was a thing when bitcoin farmers rose the prices...

Now 3060 Ti is dirt cheap. Heck, you can even get 4060.
