Playable with RTX 3060 now? Don't need raytracing, just 1440p and medium detail 45 fps stable?
Is it playable with a RTX 3060 now?
I don't need raytracing, but what I do need is:
- 1440p, bare minimum 1080p
- at least medium detail
- minimum 45 fps stable?

Like preferably a clean picture and stable fps not below 45 fps.

I think it is more about your CPU than your GPU. If you have something less than 5600 your FPS will feel stutterish most likely. Other than that you should run better than what you wrote. I got 3080ti and at 1620p dlss quality i dont always hit 100% gpu usage at 90+ fps. First location i had 60% gpu usage on ultra, don't remember the resolution. I stopped tracking fps after it, i did once, and i had noticeable stutter and lack of smoothness at 90 fps, so even if your fps will be fine it still doesnt mean it will be smooth.

Thanks for all the comments, loved Fallen Order so I am a bit on the edge here.
~45€ seems okay price wise.

Sounds playable if I am lucky. At least the sale goes long enough so I still have some time to think about it.
It's cheaper with the bundle with the first game.

only $40 that way.
Thanks, forgot about that possibility.

Sounds playable at least. Back then I had stutters on Fallen Order but was playable ( on a slower PC )

Thanks!
Got a 3060 Ti and i5 11400f, running at 1440p. The hub town at Koboh stutters badly. Other planets do much better and actually can hit a steady 60 fps. Changing settings does nearly nothing to help.

Hmm, people seem to have quite a lot of differences.

Thinking about, do you guys play on Win10 or Win11?
I am still on Win 10. Does that make also a difference?

I'm on Win 11. Not sure if it makes a difference. Anyhow, the game is very playable, mind you. But it does stutter ever so slightly.
I vaguely remember sth from back then along the line of Win10 being issue or sth. Not sure if it was blown out of proportion though.

"EA has released a statement on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor performance on PC, places some blame on Windows 10" what I just found through google on reddit.

A lot of vagueness.

Wouldn't mind some stutter. Had some stutter back then with Fallen Order on... I think I played that one with my 1060 back then. But it was mostly okay.

What made a difference for me was RAM speed. I've run the game on both 2100 mhz (I had busted sticks and had to lower their speeds) and 3600 mhz and you can feel the difference in stutters between the two. The latter is a lot, lot smoother. Make sure your memory sticks are running at their best speeds.
Hmmm, mine are running 2133 MHz. I guess thats about it.
Considering everything runs very good apart from Callisto Protocol...
Maybe I just wait for a new PC. Could still play other games.
I have a regular 3060 12GB (non TI). Seems to run fine on 1080p. But only been playing for a few hours, just bought it yesterday.
Thanks, good to know!
3060 should perform similar to PS5

....should??
I play on a 3060 laptop everything high (except anti-aliasing cause it is blurry) at 1080p.

ASUS TUF, I7 11800H, 16G RAM, 3060 non Max-Q 6G and Win 10.

For some reason when I set the DLSS 3 to "Balanced" the game is more clean it feel less blurry don't know why and I cap my fps to 45 with RTSS.

So Koboh have stutters on some places yes especially in the village but sadly nothing we can really do it's the fault of the game himself who is not well optimize... But on others planets and majority of places it is smooth and run well.

Except all the optimization subject the game is really good especially if you had like the first one :CalKestis:
