DLSS
Hi I have an RTX 4080 and so I can put the DLSS generation and I gain 30 FPS, but I wanted to know when I activate it should I also put the DLSS quality? To make the game as beautiful as possible, what should I do? DLSS generation alone or with quality DLSS?

THANKS

if u mean frame generation i dont think it effects on the graphics.
Id use it if it bumps you into high fps as i find it feels smooth that way, but i wouldnt use it if you have a low refresh monitor like 60.

My question wasn't that but thank you. I have DLSS Generation activated, yes. But my question is that graphically the game would be prettier with which combo? DLSS generation alone or DLSS generation + DLSS quality?

Because for the moment I have DLSS disabled (not the DLSS generation but the other)

THANKS

DlSS frame gen without upscaling is always going to give you the best visual fidelity. However, if you enable DLSS upscaling as well you can increase your frames per second, so you may want to do that as well.

If your rocking a 4080 you may also want to consider disabling all this stuff entirely and run at native resolution for the best visual fidelity option.

Why don't you try each one and see for yourself? Your results may vary compared to others.

I have to put at least one DLSS option, the game still has more than 60 FPS but there are still these damn freezes since the game was released. So I added DLSS generation for this, I gain 30 FPS which reduces the Freeze.

By chance these micro freeze you don't know if these are an option that does this?

Why don't you try it yourself? What's the point asking?

(if I understand the original question, you focus to have the best possible graphic quality)

IMHO in this case running everything max without any DLSS... BUT if FPS will be lower than expected (and I guess, they will) , theeen you need to have this DLSS feature enabled. Theeen running with QUALITY (not the balanced nor performance) DLSS with the frame generation is the way (40xx series, which you have).

(I don't have this game yet, so I cannot be so accurate, to navigate you. But double checked with youtube streamers, and it is how I say :) )

I wanted to ask you in passing my screen is G-sync compatible, an Asus 144 Hertz. I was told that for G-Sync to work it is necessary to block 3 FPS less in the Nvidia panel, so blocking at 141 FPS is this true?

THANKS

What they are saying is the range from 141 to say 40fps or 30/5 on better monitors. Vesa Adaptive-sync is also different from true G-Sync most monitors have Vesa Adaptive-Sync or AMD Free-sync labeled as G-Sync, True G-Sync has a module installed along with the monitor hence them costing much more. Best bet is to find out what you have and follow BlurBusters recommendations on what you have. https://blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101-input-lag-tests-and-settings/14/

It works upto your monitor refresh rate. The 3 fps is just a headroom for proper frame limitation. Also it's adviced to still enable Vsync.

This is one thing. Another one is that you have to use a DisplayPort cable. It won't work over HDMI.
