Veiled Hangar Bug (missing chest, elevator won't work)

When I first arrived in Jedha, I was focused on the story so I didn't really explore. Now that I'm farther along the questline, I'm backtracking and cleaning up the areas I missed. I didn't pick up any of the collectibles in the Veiled Hangar and now the chest is not there and I can't bring down the elevator.

However, the chest is there in my map (once I got the map upgrade) but doesn't exist in the actual game.

Same here. Was hoping it was just a matter of story progression. Can anyone help?

Just keep playing. You don't get access to that area till near the end of the story.

Yeah I was able to get it finally. FYI to new readers, it IS NOT a bug, it's storyline-dependent.
