Can't close the shortcut menu, Can't open the map and when I do Can't jump anymore.

This is a PC problem. I tried to bind a shortcut key to slow mode but nothing happened, except when I tried to open the map, the shortcut menu appeared on the top right corner, then I couldn't open the map anymore. Then the map opens but doesn't jump at all. It says to press M to close the shortcut menu but that doesn't work, either. I tried to reset all the availability settings but still has the same problem. Uninstalled and installed the game, still the same problem. I can only jump if I bind it to another key, but then it becomes very hard to do certain things. If I can't solve this problem I'll have to stop playing this game and don't think I will ever come back for another.
