bedlam raiders? lol
am i missing something here? how are bedlam raiders able to use lightsabers, able to deflect blaster fire and think they can even stand a chance against a jedi survivor who had formal training as a child and defeated the inquisitors? lol

i see you know next to nothing on the lore

anyone can "use" a lightsaber. to normal people it would just act like a powerful lazer sword. it would be heavier for non force users, being you not "attuned" to the crystal. proof on this in rebiles when Sabine started using the darksaber. she even said along the lines of "its heaver then it looks". over time she got better with it and it got lighter for her, but nowhere close to when maul used it. same with in the mandalorian when Din Djarin used the darksaber. you can see him having alot of trouble wielding it

normal people wouldnt be able to use the force powers aswell, so again, its just a powerful sword to them

you also gatta remember the saber Kal uses wasnt his at the start of the first game. it was his masters (well, until we remade with a new crystal in the first game. i would think it wouldnt become a totally new/our lightsaber by then). also Kal wasnt fully trained and deliberately forgot/pushed down alot of his training. by the 2nd game its on par with a knight, but still hasnt fully learnt everything

Everything above, also how would they know who Cal is? They're on a backwater planet and before Rayvis took over they were just a loose collection of different bandit gangs basically struggling to survive.

caz its a lightsaber and caz star war guns have slow fire.

they can just see the shot being fired and hold p there saber and hope it hits the saber. or they had a bit of training by the big bad

so again, you just showing how little you know of the lore and that your to lazy to look it up. this type of info is all over the place and real easy to find

That's an obnoxious way of being wrong. Blasters are not slow in lore. The Jedi predict with the force where they will shoot and deflect, no normal human can do the same, which is why no one else uses it consistently, and they use, guess what: blasters. So, the question is valid, they shouldn't be able to deflect bolts. Ever seen it done in a movie from a non-force sensitive? No. You won't find it anywhere else either.

Blasters are slow ??? What zaza are you smoking bro ? Sure anyone can use a light saber it's a freaking glow stick, lols, but they can't use it effectively i.e (deflect blaster blots, which are fast regardless of fire rate) so bedlam raiders using a light saber isn't surprising, using it to deflect blots 99% of the time is very WEIRD if they aren't force sensitive.

I mean even fully trained jedi's died from clone troppers using your "slow fire" weapons during the purge.

I like to think since its a video game not everything is 100% lore accurate. Also slow fire is not a thing.

Who claimed they weren't force sensitive though?
DarkWaterSong May 26, 2023 @ 3:18pm
1) Think about who is in command of the raiders, and that he wants to "rebuild" the Jedi order.
2) There are a lot of force sensitive people that never get trained by a Sith or Jedi, so some of them could end up in the raiders.
3) If you start a messed up force tradition, like the night sisters, you could train your force sensitive lieutenants (picked because they are force sensitive) on how to use a lightsaber and nothing else about the force.

So to this end, I see them a lot like the purge troopers in that they are basically cannon fodder to leader that values order over life.
