How the heck do that move, can't figure it out

Please check the move at exactly 47:23 min in this walkthrough video. I cannot figure out how to do that on PC. He grapples toward the balloon and than somehow slows down time in order to have enough time to turn around 180 degrees to jump back in the same direction. How the heck do you slow time in this situation? Please help, let me know. Thanks

Keep the L2 button (if using the xbox controller) held down.

You must keep the jump key pressed after the first jump, an in the mean while you decide the new direction. Then when you release the key, a new jump starts, and so on.
You can jump from a baloon to another all day long!

Thanks. Figured it out. On PC have to keep the E button pressed.....
