crashes before I get to menu screen
Every single time I start up it crashes before I get to the menu screen right after the title of the game itself pops up. Is this a known issue? Is it gonna get patched? I can't even figure out what the issue is and my computer seems, based on recommended specs, slightly higher than that.

seems latest patches have regressed the game....didn't think that should have been the aim of it :D

Will reinstall, if no better off it goes to collect dust :(

Turn off all overlays (STEAM and NVIDIA) if they're enabled. Fixed the problem for me

I just tried this and it didn't get me any further thought thanks for the attempt at helping.

have you played before?

if not do the normal trouble shooting. update graphics drivers. make sure nothing else that takes large amounts of memory (like chrome with many tabs) is running.

if you played before try to remove thesettings. it crashed on me when i overshot them. possible the changes they made stop the engine from starting.

the settings can be found in

C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\Respawn\JediSurvivor\GameUserSettings.sav

just redo them. don't go overboard.

I have never gotten past the title of the game. It always crashes. I have had everything closed except steam and the game and the same results.
For understanding, and I am NOT tech savy, I have processor- AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor 3.59 GHz and RAM 16.0 GB.
edit- if it is any of this than Ill have to just update it when i can.

and what graphics card do you have and how much VRAM does it have? that's one of the more important parts for the engine to launch.

Disable ray tracing if enabled. It causes problems.

LOL It won't even launch for me. It was working perfectly for me a week ago and now when I click launch the ea launcher loads and steam says the game is playing and the ea launcher flashes then steam says launch game again
