32GB ddr4 is a cheap upgrade. But I have never ever had problems with 16gb. Used to stream when playing games, a lot of browser pages opnened, no problem. This is my first unoptmized "next gen" game, I'm disapointed lmao.
But loving the game.
BTW, 16GB DDR4 are cheap, just like $50, less than the game price.
You're running out of ram as it is when you run the game. I would upgrade before running the game. You also didn't say how much Vram your card has. Nvidia stock 3060ti cards have 8GB of VRAM. These will be sitting ducks for newer games soon because of the amount of ram. When it gets full or reaches a certain point, it's reaching for system ram and it's not there and then you get the error messages. It's a really high speed data juggling act. AMD was wise to beef theirs up in the new generation cards, up to 16-24GB. That card will have to be upgraded soon. They also need to release a patch to fix the crashing but your will need to sink some cash into your pc soon. Don't low ball it because you'll have to pay out twice. Once for the initial purchase and the other for getting it right. Been there.
Increased virutal ram to 20 GB, I'm playing with everything maxed, plus ray tracing at mostly 60fps. Koboh's bigger open area bottlenecks my cpu, but that's it, same thing happens on the consoles, hope future updates fix it. Game is never using more than 7.1gb here.
Saw a guy running the game better than me with a 6gb RTX 2060, followed his tips and the game is now running perfectly.
The game is just using way too much ram and cpu at the moment, there is clearly some ram and maybe vram leak.
Something like this? What game settings?

The issue with relying on virtual ram is that it wears out your drive faster, the more you rely on it. Add more ram and this issue goes away.
This is not a solution, its a workaround, offloading to virtual memory is alot slower than RAM.
They still need to optimize the game tho, now way Koboh uses so much CPU... My 3060ti has enough power to push max settings and RT, but RT just kills even more cpu.
ram is not vram....
i have 32gb ram...ive seen ppl having crashes at 64+gb ram....
