Meanwhile much smaller teams with vastly lower budget are able to create technically near flawless games (Mundfish, Dambuster).
Under the [/script/engine.gameusersettings] heading, I added the following line.
r.hzbocclusion=1
It's worked for me with my game settings, OS, and hardware configuration without performance impact.
Can't say it'll work for everyone or if it'll impact other people's performance.
We shouldn't need to do stuff like this, but for now, it's a workaround some people might be able to use.

I hope they will fix this in the next update... I tried to fix this myself with an ini file, so far I can't.
