3080 Performance Question

Can anyone confirm average FPS for RTX 3080 or lower with:

Max settings
4k resolution
Raytracing OFF

Would appreciate any answers with the latest patch.

3080 + i7 9700k 1440p everything epic rt off gets between 70-90 indoors to 35-50 outdoors. with rt on you get 10-20 fps less but lots of different crashes. all the updates we had this far didnt do anything to the crashes. performance gains are very minimal aswell so far. btw had to remove 2 memory sticks due to instability so im running at 16gigs currently

I get between 70 and 80 with fsr quality on. It drops lower in town and high demand places. Have to use fsr because it looks like butt turned off. Mostly plays just fine outside of the crash every so often.

With the new patch I can manage 60fps outdoors but still have the crashes. I'm still on Koboh cause it crashes every 30 minutes or so. I have a 3080 ti and a I9-12950

Thanks for the replies. Yeah wondering if it's worth getting the game right now with the latest patch. I intend on playing 4k max settings without raytracing turned on (visual improvement not worth the performance hit for most games imo). I need stable 60FPS or higher to feel good about playing, otherwise I can wait.

Game is CPU bound. Max is about 2 Cores worth. Clock speeds matter, recommend 5GHz+.

Sounds like FSR is bugged still.

FSR off generally results in half the resolution (not native), and lower FPS. FSR Quality is the only way to play this game.

Yeah i just gave a baseline, with fsr on it went up to 45 in saloon....

unfortunately my game is now crashing every 5 minutes...

Sounds like what I'm looking for will be available next year at the same time for $10 - might just have to wait on that.

To give you an idea, 3080, 5600x, 1440p, 32GB DDR4 3600 RAM, G-SYNC Monitor, installed on a 980 NVMe drive, all high settings, RT off. Jedah was 60fps pretty much locked, but on Koboh, 60 dropping to 45/55 frequently, enough to spoil the experience really. I just got to the Shattered Moon and that seems to be the same so far.

A shame as it is a really good game, but obviously poor programming. No crashes though, played about 20 hours.

This makes me think the issues with the game are cpu bound, but it's probably everything based on how scattered all the issues are. A shame because I was looking forward to picking this up, but looks like I'll be waiting.

Yo I downloaded this on my Asus laptop the specs are 3070 RTX laptop GPU Ryzen 5900HX 32 gb DDR 3200 and I use the optimal Geforce experience settings which are all Epic and High 4k Resolution RT off. I am getting consistent 50+ fps smooth as butter
