Why cant we rebind the Arrow Keys?

Why Respawn? When you try it says the Up Cant be Un-bound. Same goes for all the Arrow Keys.

Why do we need to use AutoHotKey to fix your screw up Respawn?? Seriously!!!

I'm left handed, WTF! Fix this stupid locked down crap!

I know right? For the life of me, I can not fathom what developers are thinking when they lock down keys and wont allow you to rebind them on the PC. Its the most baffling and frustrating crap ever!

Bad implementation of the controls by game developer! I can change controls arrow key all game (99%). I use iCUE from corsair because I have corsair keyboard, it's painful !

There's a reason: game is developed on consoles, where all controls are the same.
Then, some badly paid interns do the pc port.

Most of the time, they're not aware about different kB layout: qwerty, AZERTY, arrows, numeric pad, etc ...

They then hardcode everything to one layout, and, yes, it gets me mad as well.

Typically, for me, 3rd person view games play better with a controller. Just curious what the consensus is.

I may try controller again to see if my opinion changes but i did the tutorial mission on both when the game first came out and i couldnt get used to the camera on controller

I used the Nexus Mod and it broke other functions like mouse sensitivity. AHK did not work for me, unknown why. I tried a longshot and I have best of both worlds. I happened to have the Fallen Order file and I copied that over and it worked great.

I can not believe I see this..big publisher making indie errors by not allow bind keys?..what an utter crap..that made up my mind then, I won't buy this garbage..was gonna, since my new RTX 4080 arrives next week maybe..but noooooo after that info

I may be wrong but it seems maybe just menu navigation isnt able to be rebound as I was able to rebind stuff for gameplay.
