NG+
What is the purpose of new game + ... you start with all your cosmetics and any temples you completed still completed, but some of the force powers like lift/drop you don't get until the certain story parts. I'm not really sure what the point of playing through the game on this mode is, or why it's any better than just starting a new game with the exception of the cosmetics and skill points already being there. ????

For someone that almost never plays NG+ in other games. I plan to play this one because i loved the combat but also because you get the skill points and all saber stances. Without having the saber stances idk if I would wanting to be jumping into NG+ even tho they are easy and fast to unlock. I like the option to change what stance i want to use whenever from the start on NG+ Yes not having the unlocked ablites can be slighty annoying but overall it isnt a big deal to me.

Makes sense so you can't access areas that will break the game/story. Do you at least get to start with all of the saber stances unlocked?

You do gain all stances at start of the game (Technically once you hit first "bonfire). Plus you get all your skill points refunded so you can spend them again with all the passive upgrades still, like health increase and whatnot. On top of getting two new saber colors. Red and Party, which is essentially an ever changing color every time you strike or block.

The biggest plus for me is three new perks you can activate. Two of my favorite are the rando cosmetic changes if you die and the new, harder enemies you encounter now.

Yeah I guess I just don't get what the point is. I've been playing through it and it feels a little weird ... like more barren because all of the temples and unlocks are already done. It would have been cool if they created new cosmetics that could only be found in the boxes during an NG+ run or done something else to make it worthwhile to do. maybe there are some good Achievements?

Personally when I play it im just gonna do story missions there is enough fights in that to satisfy me. The only reason id play NG+ just to have some fun with the combat.

the NG+ is substantially better in this game due to getting all the force powers from the previous game.....but I would like for any future titles in this franchise to not bundle offensive force abilities to the progression so that we can get them on NG+

NG+ is sadly also the only way to redo some of the most fun fights and dungeons, since bosses and legendary bosses tend not to respawn.
