2nd fight against Dagan?
Can anybody give me any useful tips? For hours I am trying to defeat this little brat but I cant get it done, even if my life depended on it...
I mean the figh tinside the big ship, not the first time you meet him...
Even if I'm blocking, his flying saber will damage me. Plus, I have to dodge his power attacks and sometimes bearely get a hit in...

Maybe I should respec my talent points? Which skills and combat styles are mostr useful here?
Playing on highest difficulty, dont want to reduce it but this fight is giving me nightmares...

Thanks. Which combat style(s) did you use?
So far I have the best results using the two-hander (the big saber, dont know what its called in English xD)

Woahh spoilers! Thanks for ruining everything! I didn't see it coming!

The ingame tactical guide suggests to simply avoid him when he lets his second saber fly and adds that good fighters might be able to deflect that. I know that's not me lol so I did run away when he started with that.

Well...patience, wait out and avoid his power attacks. When there is an oppening be agressive because only when his block breaks you can deal damage at all.

You will get hit when being agressive and not a perfect player, so use stims. I had 8 at that point and I'm playing at the standard (medium) difficulty. I'm using the single saber against singular enemies / bosses and often try the jump + strong attack or parry + normal attack moves (xbox gamepad: A + Y / LB + X).

Come on now. You are saying you already met him (if not: you don't know wqho this is and cannot be spoiled by reading the title) and didn't think you'd ever face him again. Right.

This. Be more aggresive in that second fight. If you can, parry the flying lightsaber and that will give you more chances to attack him

I also used the crossguard stance (the two hander one), mixed with occasionally switching to the blaster stance to knock him out of some attacks from safety.

The blaster-part to knock hjim out of his attacks is a good idea. Will try this later tonight.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

No problem, and good luck. Do note that the blaster won't stop all his attacks ofc. Very few of them in fact.
i use a lightsaber+blaster and use a charged blast to knock him off, or I go dual saber and do the spinning forward attack to break his shield. The last thing i noticed was that you can parry that flying lightsaber to disable it.
Dual Stance is really good for the fast paced lightsaber fights as it is the only stance that has animation canceling, meaning you can cancel an attack mid-animation to block.

Went to the movies for decompression, will now continue this quest of frustration :D

can you parry that with the force-parry of the dual-wield-stance? I know it isn't exactly a melee-attack, but it's none the less a lightsaber-attack, isn't it?`
(I assume, I still have several hours of play ahead me, until I reach that fight... but I'm none the less curious.)
