Unable to use force powers

I just got to the part of the game when you learn lift and slam and I am unable to progress because i am unable to use force powers. I have tried changing the key binds and nothing seems to work. im afraid my only result is to restart the game but hoping someone may be able to help first. controller connection is good. just havent been able to use force powers.

should be able to bind in keyboard as well to see if it is a controller issue or game issue

Hey! I had the same issue. I think I have a better idea of how the game works now (though, I still have questions).

During combat you will notice several bars at the bottom of your screen. The one at the very bottom is the Force Power bar. When it is full, you are then able to use Force Powers (note that Force Powers are different from Force Attacks...Force Attacks have their own bar that fills up as well). Force Push and Force Pull are an exception to this...they can be used at any time. The Force Bar fills as you do damage to enemies with your lightsaber (maybe other things too??).

I am still early in the game. I have only unlocked Slow and Confusion. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out a way to seamlessly switch between Force Powers during combat. It seems to take two button presses to switch to a different Force Power. I don't like this.

It's one of this game's many glitches.
You probably don't need to restart the whole game. Quitting to main screen and reloading from there was enough to fix it for me.

Had the same issue. Only fix was quitting to main screen and then it worked
