Gathering Tempest, Endless Hurricane....don't work?

So, am I missing something with these abilities? Tooltip seems to read that you simply hold LMB and these abilities will trigger. But when I hold LMB, nothing happens except the standard double bladed attack.

Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: turns out the description is wrong. Solution: just **repeatedly** click and hold LMB :-)
My guess is that they wanted to simplify this attack from Fallen Order, first went with holding LMB then changed it to successive inputs but didn't update the text.
BUT: my attack still doesn't look anything like in the skill tutorial. It differs when I click or click and hold but yeah.
