Seems map causes crashes now

So I was able to play the longest not opening up the map, but it soon became clear (first playthrough) I need to map to figure out what to find next. But it's almost always when I open the map that the game "stops responding" and I have to "end task" in task manager.

I keep lowering the graphic settings, and Fallen Order now looks better and plays better than this game.

Yea playing it 2 years later and still the game freezed for a solid 10 seconds while opening the map and loading areas idk why it's still not fixed.
