Too many jumping puzzles take the fun out of it.
I know, to each their own, but Cal spends more time jumping over, off of, and through stuff for the game to be fun for me. Okay, fine, make it interesting to get from one place to an other, but having to chain ten-plus perfectly timed actions in a row just to move through the main plot is just ridiculous.

I wouldn't call it "perfectly timed.." It's not even close... The platforming is REALLY generous in this game...

You can even jump BACK on to the same wall you are trying to run across or go up and make progress upwards, almost no game does this (allows you to jump back on the same wall and actually gain from it)...

I can't really agree with you at all, the tools you have for platforming in this game are MORE than generous and NONE of the platforming requires perfect timing...

The only time perfect timing is required in this game appears to be with parrying, particularly on grand master.

Skill issue
But they're so easy. Game is more about utilizing your Jedi skill, first game was the same.
I know, it's not for everyone, but it's what this game is about.
At least everything isn't flat.
I agree some of the jumping levels are annoying and stupid. For example Fractured momentum tear is extremely frustrating.

This

I normaly jump on the same wall 2 times to get a bit of hight and to know I will get to the next jump easily

Are there alot of tem, sure. Are they hard, hell no
Lol this is the most forgiving game with parkour and platforming I have played in a while.
10 is a small number for actions in a video game. i don't like when the map is confusing but i do like the challenge of crossing it. jumping and swinging is more fun than walking.
If anything, it stayed true to the first installment.
Jumping puzzles are the PC game equivalent of wrapping up a plot by saying, "It was all a dream."
Lazy, lazy, lazy game design.

For the most part it is tolerable, but I really need a "Story Mode" difficulty for those platforming Force Tears >.>

PS thank god for that accessibility option that removes damage from platforming falls

Don't get me wrong - I loved the game and will definatly play through it again. But yeah, I agree the jumping wall running was used so often it felt like a Crash Bandicoot game at some points :P
There are challenges (named Force Tears) that are called momentum, dexterity, whatever that are platforming based. I did the easy one and decided not to go for the associated achievement for those challenges because of those platform ones. That easy one gave me a headache.

I did all the others, though.

Got 100% on all planets, purchases, upgrades, and the databank, though. So, I'm not completely averse to it, but those challenges were kinda pointless, even all the ones I finished, and not worth the frustration for me.

Oh, well. Them's the breaks. If I don't want to do it, I don't get the cheevo for it. That's how it works. (It's also why I have so few 100%. Not going to force myself to do something I really don't like for something only I will see. Heck. I have all the outfit stuff [not special edition stuff], and Cal's still wearing the same stuff he had at the start.)
Agreed. There are so much time wasted with pointless platforming... One for example is to get to the first Jedha meditation point.
*shrug* My skill did improve, and I got past the sticking point that I died on so many times...it just wasn't fun for me. After a while it just serves to glaringly point out the forced game mechanics: "Why can I only jump against *that* type of wall, or climb only on *that* type of grate?" There are plenty of places where you're required to follow a complicated pattern of leaps, dashes, and ziplines, when it looks as though Cal should be able to jump up a simpler wall/cliff and avoid all the headache.

I guess I was looking for more force-and-lightsaber stuff from the game instead of constantly having to Spider-man myself across the map, only without the best part of his (Spidey's) powers.

My last comment. Thanks for the perspectives.
