Too many jumping puzzles take the fun out of it.
I know, to each their own, but Cal spends more time jumping over, off of, and through stuff for the game to be fun for me. Okay, fine, make it interesting to get from one place to an other, but having to chain ten-plus perfectly timed actions in a row just to move through the main plot is just ridiculous.

Definitely a bit too much platforming in this game. It needed to more lightsaber duels and improvement to the combat (which isn't bad, just not very deep).

I agree they are to many. They are not that difficult i just feel like meh, not again.
this puzzles are all that make this game fun ( and only thing that works )

I agree with some that there is enough platforming maybe for not the noblest reasons, but itself is easy, its like Cal has glue or something for me, then again I played and finished the original prince of persia in 1993
One thought kept coming back as i played this. Is this a Tomb Raider or an Uncharted clone?, i cant decide.
Regardless it's too much for my taste, if i wanted to play platformers, i'd play platformers. This is a Star Wars game, platforming shouldn't be the main gameplay loop. In my opinion at least.

And for the record, i don't own any Tombraider or Uncharted games. Had some fun with the older tombraiders on console, but im done with them. So i'd prefer the future of Star Wars games aren't platformers.

The only difficult and/or annoying jumping parts were those agility-focused Tears where some literally required you to chain 10+ moves in order to pass them or go back to start.

Open world jumping sections were fine, plentiful for sure, but it mostly felt organic. I liked that if you saw something in the distance, you could usually get there directly or indirectly.

Aye, and you don't even need to do them unless you really really want the achievement or you really want to test your skills.

I did enjoy most of the non-tear jumping puzzles though.

I like the jumping. It offfers some variety in gameplay. Without, there was not much to do.

Really? there was not much to do apart from jump puzzles?. That's a weird take.
Just to be clear. I don't think, they should remove the jumppuzzles, and it's not about the difficulty. Im talking about the balance between combat/story/parkour. Parkour could be lowered and the others increased.

game was fine until shattered moon then it felt like it became jumping puzzle after jumping puzzle. it was tedious the first time through the second time through, was even more tedious and I just uninstalled game just wasn't fun any more.
This game doesn't make me feel like a Jedi. It makes me feel like a rock climber who happened to drink the magical jedi juice.
Couldn't disagree more. Platforming is the best part of this game.
Respawn is good at this going back to their Titanfall games. You add in the jedi powers to Respawn's platforming skillset and it's pretty clear that platforming would be a big part of the game. I personally think it's fine and enjoyable, but I didn't like the platforming in the force tears too much, and I agree that the shattered moon just felt a bit too much on the platforming. Of course even the beloved Jedi Knight games had a lot of platforming so this has always been a staple of these games. Maybe they could just dial it down a notch or two the next time, but overall I didn't find it to be a problem for the main story.

Totally agree, I frikken hate the massive amount of jumping bullsh*t they put in the game. Blind wallrun followed by double rope jump followed by rope slide down electrocuted wire followed by jumping sideways then vertically . . . and if you screw up once you start at the beginning. Super annoying, like timing the vertical heat lifts while gliding with the birds. Don't know what EA devs were thinking, but the puzzle are NOT FUN AT ALL. Literally everyone has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ jetpack, why can't Cal get one too?
