What the hell was EA thinking? This is basically a "rent-a-game", we can't play a singleplayer game if our internet our in this case THEIR TRASH LAUNCHER is down.

The game is actually really good, way better than fallen order in every regard so i wouldn't call it a garbage, respawn is talented as hell, EA is the issue. I'm pretty sure it was also EA that forced an early release. Wouldn't be uncharacteristic.

EA APP is worse than origin! The game is great, but still a stuttery crashy mess, compounded by the worst UI ONLINE crap to date. Single player game should be allowed to be played offline. This should be law at this stage!

It's not their license that's expiring but their exclusive license. They can still make SW games afaik, but so can others now. Correct me if i'm wrong though

Yes. Even this game is under the new Lucasfilm Games licensing.
