Can I run it with these specs?
Hi, I am wondering if I can run this game with the computer I have. If anybody can throw me some golden computer advice, that would be great!

My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with 6 GB of RAM on it. I see the minimum for this game is a card with 8 GB of RAM.

What will happen if I run the game on only the 6 GB?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

You will have to run on the lowest detail level to conserve VRAM. It seems to mostly fit into the 6GB limit.

If it ever goes over it will spill over into RAM, and if you only have 16GB of RAM then games are at risk of running out of memory and crashing.

Furthermore, when it goes over your VRAM, the frame rates typically drop below 40 FPS.

Even if you will manage to start this game without crashes you wont get good performance as peoples who exceed recommanded settings usually have fps below 50. I saw tests on youtube where 3070 and 4070 had fps dropping below 60. If they choke on this game your GPU will likely have 30 with lots of stuttering.

I think you will be fine. Im playing on Ryzen 2700x CPU, AMD RX 580 4GB GPU and 16 GB of RAM. Im getting anywhere between 30 to 50 FPS depending on the situation with very rare drops bellow 30 FPS. My ingame settings are custom medium/low. Hope this helps!

Thanks for all your replies so far! I think I'll wait a few days, then make sure I play less than 2 hours, to see how it runs, in case I want to refund it. Thanks again for the help!

Thats most reasonable course of action. Perhaps it will even have new patch improving its stability by its time.

Hey.

Did you end up trying it? I'm curious how it worked out for you.

Hi, no, I haven't tried it yet. I decided to try it when I am on holiday, so I can play those 2 hours and not feel like I am wasting my life :P

Fair enough! I hope it goes well if you give it a shot.

Until I get my new PC, I'm stuck with a 6 GB VRAM GPU.
