Keeps crashing on low settings

I don't know what to do at this point I like the game when i can play when it doesn't crash but that is about only 5-10 minutes. Should I just get a refund or be patient with EA?

You can try opening task manager > details > righ click the game and setting priority to high
That fixed crashing for me and some others, though I cannot promise it will fix yours, it's likely worth a try.

You are better off getting a refund because it's going to take several patches to completely fix the game and by then it will have gone on sale for 40% off

Worked for a day and back to crashing after changing to high priority every time.. Leaning towards a refund but I really enjoy what I did manage to play.

It's lame. I'm just gonna play something else until they sort this out, and no more buying new games unless the community gives it a stamp of approval.

Hey. Try to lock your refresh rate to 60hz via the nvidia control panel or advance display settings in windows. This method worked for me.

u gotta he go to task manager and set jedi survivor to max priority thats what stopped me from crashing every 1 hour to like never practically

I tried this, along with putting the game in high priority and played it for awhile without crashing, so thanks. Well, that isn't entirely true, it did crash when I exited the game, but it was shutting down already anyway.

I'm having the same issue here, crashing all the time after the first world which ran great. I'm using an Asus Rog Strix with an i9 , 3070ti with 32gb of ram and Windows 11 Pro.

Today it ran well for 1hr the amount of time I usually game no crashes. Will see how tomorrow goes if all is well i will mark your answer as correct for me. Still playing on low setting though.

I took the advise from this thread as well. Once I switched to 60hz and set the game to high priority in the task manager I went nearly 10 hours without a crash. Unfortunately now I am stuck in an area where it crashes at the same spot every time. SMH

Now today it is back to crashing. EA has 1 more week for another patch or I am returning this ♥♥♥♥ performance game. I was looking forward to this game too.

The priority fix was working for me for quite some time but after the second return to Koboh it's been a disaster. I had to lower the refresh rate AND lower settings to lowest AND lower the resolution to even start the game and even then it freezes constantly. Whoever is responsible for optimizing this for PC should be put in prison because this is essentially a scam and this game is yet another argument as to why consumer protection agencies should start looking at game developers that rush an unoptimized mess of a port.
