How to Open Red Door Above Veiled Hangar

There's a red door above the mantis in the veiled hangar. It has some security lock looking thing on it. How do you open those?

Little black clamp looking things? The ability to open those will come near the end of the game.

How far into the end of the game? I'm on one of the last 3 missions, being the compass to Eno Cordova, and I can't open it.

Yep those. It's one of the last things you learn to do, you can't miss it so just keep going and Cal will be able to rip em open.

Yep those. It's one of the last things you learn to do, you can't miss it so just keep going and Cal will be able to rip em open.

Yeah, happens as part of the main campaign, was the next main quest lol

Yep, you first see someone else do it, then in the next mission Cal does it.
