Improve Performance For Nvidia GPU's
Open NVIDIA Control Panel and click on Manage 3D Settings . From here, either change the Global Settings or change the Program Settings for a specific program which in our case, Jedi Survivor. If you don't see STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor when you click Program Settings , click "Add" and choose the game. Then make the changes below.

Texture filtering - Quality -> High Performance
Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample optimization -> On
Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias -> Allow
Texture filtering - Trilinear optimization -> On
Antialiasing - Gamma correction -> Off
Antialiasing - Mode -> Off
Low Latency Mode -> Ultra
Threaded optimization -> On
Tripple buffering -> Off

Optional
Power management mode -> Prefer maximum performance (Optional because of power consumption)
Anisotropic filtering -> 16x (Optional because this might reduce the performance we'll get, but will give better image quality)

This will affect the image quality a bit but, it'll improve the game's performance. If you don't like how it looks, you can always reset the settings.

You should not have to do any of that if the game was optimized correctly. The hardware is more than powerful enough. And people are way above the recommended requirements.

This is true, but it doesn't mean people can't help others that are trying to make it playable despite the terrible base performance.

I was ok, but I can’t make it past the optimisation screen with out freezing

Probably just placebo if there's any change at all

Low Latency Mode -> Ultra - I believe will have no effect if the game is DirectX 12

The game still suffers a lot, there is nothing much to do about it. This improved my fps for some areas of the planets. Before I was stuck between 30-45 fps no matter the planet and settings, now I was able to see above 60 fps in some areas which is a huge leap. Koboh and some areas of Shattered Moon still destroys fps. Also, the performance patch didn't do anything on my side, maybe these settings didn't work out for you or anyone could be the same thing. Nowadays AAA games act differently on people's PCs. Some people can't even pass the optimization screen is a good example for this.

I agree with you, it might even do harm than good. I have no info about the DirectX version of the game. I'll definitely try this setting to see if it hurts the performance. Thanks for noticing.

This destroy texture in all games I played so far. I don't own this one but I don't see why it will be different...
