force 'slam/lift' softlock

i get to the point of the game were cere shows you the new 'slam/lift' mechanic. there are two turrents and a door which the game prompts you to use the new abilities on, but the game does not let me use the 'focus' mechanic (controller or PC) on either the turrents or the door. the game has softlocked me because i cannot progress past the door or go backwards because u drop down into the area and cant return. anyone else have this problem or know how to fix? i tried restarting game/PC but doesnt work. is there a way to load the game from a previous save spot so i can maybe run it back. what is solution?

I had the same issue. I rebound the slam to Alt+Ctrl instead of Alt+Space, which seemed to work for me

I couldn't fire the kobo material with BD-1, and I had to reassign a key up on the keyboard, while playing with the concontroller, to be able to do it (fortunately it's not a big problem, they are calm phases where you need to do it): try to see if it's the same sort of problem.

Got the same problem. I´ve read some threads now and i´m afraid to know what lead to the softlock. In Coruscant is a passage where you have to use mindcontroll to make 2 stromtrooper attack each other. If you manage to skip that passage without the mindtrick, the game doesnt let you attack with Bode with Rb+X ("force"+"attack"). Commands which only use Rb do still work. Befor i went to progress the mainstory, i went back to Coruscant to collect some stuff.... i went past those 2 stormtroopers without using the mindtrick... no problems so far... went on with the mainstory to the point where smash/lift is needed... Rb+A is not working...

Found a PC fix that worked for me. Under Force controls > slam > binded L ALT as a tertiary key. Now I can force slam as I please.

Thanks for the heads up on it, I will be ready if it is and issue when I get there

Unbound everything in the game from ALT key. Holding it triggers steam functions in the background instead of game powers. I could not get past the slam tutorial until I did this.

Thank you so much. I was stuck here for ages and tried a bunch of other suggestions but this is what fixed it for me.

I don't have anything bound to the alt key... It still doesn't work...
