I found cause of freezing issue about star wars jedi survivor

The issue cause by the EA app that this game is installing. if your EA app is not updated then it is bound to crash. Some times the system is closing the EA app so game is freezing. Some times EA app is not recognising the star wars from steam because of login or even after login it is happening.

if you have Xbox game pass software then if gets updated then EA app is also crashing.

best solution of freezing is to uninstall the app and reinstall using steam. you have to do this every time game freezes.

unfortunately there is no solution for FPS drop tough.

if you guys find something please share an insight.

My game was constantly freezing after playing for 15 min. then when i restart my game it freezes at start. that is when i decided to tinker and test everything. when i uninstalled the EA app and reinstalled using steam it worked and didn't freeze for like an hour.

intially it was on cutscene for me but later it was happen during gameplay as well or in idle mode.

it's taking login through EA app after you start the game trough steam.

For me this fix the crashing and reduces in 90% the stuttering;

1 First of all, go to your screen settings and set your monitor to 50hz or below (50 should be good)

2 Make sure you download the version 2.2.3 of this mod, this one is pretty easy to install.

3 Don't run the game as admin.

4 Now you can choose literally any type of settings on the game, just make sure your machine will support it!

5 This is so far the best and only way to make the game playable until we wait for a better update on the game! This stop the crashing on my save data, on the second planet, stop in 90% the stuttering.

6 also recomend to turn off the RTX, at least on my side because the game still need fixes for the RTX. I have the RTX 3070TI and I noticed it will a little low FPS on some parts of the game.

This will fix your game i'm 100% sure. At least it's going to be a lot better than before, give it a try! And if it works, please comment!

Tried this, and it almost seemed to work. Didn't crash within the first 5 minutes. Instead, crashed in 10 minutes. Although, the lowest option for refresh rate on my monitor is 60.

No need for you to download on steam. follow my other instruction on other thread. and set the game process priority to high in task manager.

i was able to avoid the crashes and no crashes happen since then. there are certain spots on the map or activity after which crashes are happening. so best course of action is to avoid those.
