crashes all the time at third desert planet
i have a 4090 & 5800x3D, 32gb nothing is overclocked or undervolted. I played till the third desert planet, probably 10 hours, not a singel crash. but now i´m at the point after the first storm on the desert planet and it just keeps crashing while or after every single cutscene.
anyone else with this problem at this area?

Similiar issue. Got about 8 hours in, decent FPS, no crashes. Now suddenly, i crash almost every few minutes, no matter the planet. Not sure what happened because nothing changed.

I had the same problem. For some reason the game crashes when you enable raytracing on Jedha.

Turn off raytracing until you reach the next planet.

alright thanks for the input. damn so it seems like a breaking point right now. i´ve tried to set the cpu prio to real time with taskmanager, no impact.
restarted pc, no impact.
i wonder when they will release the freakn first patch after this disastrous release, it´s quiet.

turn off RT? no wait until a patch is released so I can play the game like want with all the eyecandy my pc can hadle. I noticed this 'workaround' to. Jedha, or the RTX implementation is garbage. This game better recieve a huge patch the coming week.

as soon as i saw the performance of this game 2 days ago and saw that it runs just with 40ish-50fps on large spots (like the hole town and around town area of the second planet) i hit alt+f4 and thought"no way i gonna play 40fps again with my rig (and without a reason - pathtracing Cyberpunk).
but i know EA is f garbage and won´t care + it just seems like a barebone port to Unreal 4 without any optimization, so it would take forever for them to actually get it done right and fix this mess... DLSS3 would help a ton...
so i decided to bite in the sour apple and just play the damn game as fps gets better after leaving the second planet.
so if turning RT off for 30 minutes solves it, like it did for me... just turn that damn thing off for this short period of time ;)

Disable Raytracing fixed it for me also with 4090 and 7950x3d.

I was getting this at another point in the game. I turned off FSR2 and was able to pass that spot.

I'll try enabling it later to see if it starts crashing again.

yup same problem , i managed to get pass this planet, played threw the broken moon no crashes and after coming back to this planet is crashing non stop now, im gonna turn off RT to see if it fixes the issue or not because it crashes in less then 30 secs loading in now

What's it feel like to have spent money on that 4090 only to still not be able to run ♥♥♥♥ right xD - even the mighty 4XXX series behemoths don't work with this game u'd THINK they would have tested this on all of the cards and CPU's...
