Turn off raytracing until you reach the next planet.
restarted pc, no impact.
i wonder when they will release the freakn first patch after this disastrous release, it´s quiet.
let us know. im crashing on jedha too:
Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000278
turn off RT? no wait until a patch is released so I can play the game like want with all the eyecandy my pc can hadle. I noticed this 'workaround' to. Jedha, or the RTX implementation is garbage. This game better recieve a huge patch the coming week.
as soon as i saw the performance of this game 2 days ago and saw that it runs just with 40ish-50fps on large spots (like the hole town and around town area of the second planet) i hit alt+f4 and thought"no way i gonna play 40fps again with my rig (and without a reason - pathtracing Cyberpunk).
but i know EA is f garbage and won´t care + it just seems like a barebone port to Unreal 4 without any optimization, so it would take forever for them to actually get it done right and fix this mess... DLSS3 would help a ton...
so i decided to bite in the sour apple and just play the damn game as fps gets better after leaving the second planet.
so if turning RT off for 30 minutes solves it, like it did for me... just turn that damn thing off for this short period of time ;)
I'll try enabling it later to see if it starts crashing again.
its ok, there isnt really any RT effects in the desert anyway
What's it feel like to have spent money on that 4090 only to still not be able to run ♥♥♥♥ right xD - even the mighty 4XXX series behemoths don't work with this game u'd THINK they would have tested this on all of the cards and CPU's...
