Save Game completely vanished?
So i started the game after playing last night.

My save is completely gone. (I haven't done anything at all to the PC, even tried backup restore.)

Anyone has had a similiar experience with the save just disapearing?

The way console games save is just not very suited for PC and most likely it is lost.

What are you talking about 🤣

The save feature is designed for the console, it has huge issues on PC. Many people have the above issue.
Lost a couple of hours worth of progress today :(

Same stuff happened to me... Not good at all. + at every launch optimizing game files is hella annoying.
Small Update: After replaying the story again ( 10 hours into game) I had the same issue again. This time I worked it around somehow. If the game EVER asks you about Sync issues and to chose between Cloud and Local. ALWAYS CHOSE LOCAL! otherwise it deletes your save!

A lil late her. But I’ve lost all my progress after finishing the whole game. I intended to 100% it. But when I booted up the game literally one day after finishing it on Jedi Master difficulty, everything was gone and I was back in the tutorial :(

I backup regularly by tabbing out and copying the save folder over to a unique backup folder. My routine takes 30 seconds or less.

And then, every so often, I turn on Cloud saves to back everything up to the cloud, re-syncing what is needed, then turn it off again. I never use cloud saves due to risk of corruption etc.

Once you start to give a ♥♥♥♥ enough, and lose enough, you'll figure out a system, or not.

Always know where your game save folder is and backup locally regularly. Once you create the habit it's so simple to maintain.

C:\Users\<your PC>\Saved Games\Respawn\JediSurvivor

A rare game that actually uses the 'Saved Games' folder.
