It´s no fix, It´s a JOKE, yes for you 30 fps is buttery smooth, but for the Majority of Players not. Yes i locked fps also @30 with RTSS, but it is not buttery smooth, it is playable if anything, but if i want to play @30 fps i would not spend Money for good PC Hardware, then i would buy a cheap console!
I can Play:
Last of us 1440p native (no fsr), High / Ultra Settings (50/50) steady 60 fps. So Last of us does look better, and Run better.
Hogwarts Legacy 1440p native (no fsr), Ultra Settings (only Effect Quality is set to High because Reflections look better at High) and Ray Tracing off, also steady 60 fps, aside from a few Traversalstutters / Loadstutters only in Astronomy Tower on 2 points, and in Hogsmeade also on 2 Points.
The game looks just amazing, a heaven come true for a SW fan like me, and it runs smootly nearly everywhere. Idk the precise fps, but judging from previous experiences it's about 35-45.
Small thing to think about:
I am a solvent IT guy by trade, perfectly able to buy 2x 3070, high-performing i9, 64GB RAM, or whatnot, but I don't do that. I like my setup. Why? Because realistic-look and eye-candy always was and always will be absolutely inconsequential to a great gaming experience and it often brings more problems then goodness. And the first and foremost of those problems is that the realism-race often turns malefic and mongering if left unchecked.
I am sorry to hear that for many people the game doesn't perform well on higher res and stronger equipment, but maybe this here is a thing to think about while pushing yourself to feel as a proper gamer *just because of buying 3090, i9 and 4K monitors...*
Damn.
And here I was just tryna lighten the mood a bit and give people a bit of a laugh while we waited for a patch; I didn't realize I had incited the creation of something so profound.
Neat.
hahaha !°
1. Never trust EA (this is the most important part)
2. Wait for game to go on sale in 8 weeks later, after Denovo is removed and new drivers have dropped and a few patch's that fix most issues thanks to pro early beta testing.cos you know it is going to be a ♥♥♥♥ show. (why pay the premium for games that are never premium at launch)
Method 2 (Assumes that you already do not trust EA)
1.Drop some $$ on EA Play pro for 1 month and give it a go.
2.If it gets fixed yadda yadda yadda get it for cheap on sale 8 weeks after launch.
Anyway, I don't say that there is no advantage to having 60+ fps, but games can be perfectly enjoyable at 30 already. Anything beyond is comfort. A good thing to have for sure, I like my comfort as much as the next guy, but a thing largely inconsequential to great content experience for anyone but form-over-matter, superficial wannabes. Choose your pick where do you stand.
